Text messaging as a tool for civic engagement is so much more amazing than I’ve ever imagined.  2008 has been fantastic.  2009 is going to be even better.

I think the highlight of the day for me was when we started getting tons of incoming messages from students in the Midwest asking questions about their polling place, what they needed to bring to vote, and so on. Our customers were able to easily respond to all of them and get a lot of them out to the polls who might not have gotten there otherwise.
